      <description>Location: Leamington Spa | Salary: 70000.00-70000.00 Annual | Type: Permanent | Principal Power Electronics Design Engineer Warwickshire, UK  NOTE: This role is suited to a Principal Level engineer with extensive experience gained within electrified propulsion applications (e.g. Traction inverters, DC-DC converters or OBC) for land, aerospace or marine systems. £70-85k (flexible) + bonus + benefits Hybrid working: Leamington Spa. This role requires extensive experience of power electronics design aligned to e-mobility (electrified powertrain) applications. Engineers should be able to take products through the design lifecycle to validated prototype. Key elements:  Power electronics design and development (electric powertrain systems / electrified propulsion applications (e.g. Traction inverters, DC-DC converters or OBC  Technical leadership, customer facing and technical project delivery  Working in a customer centric organisation you will be involved with taking power electronics designs from concept (blank page) to optimised prototypes, typically for e-mobility / electric vehicle applications but could also include clean energy applications.
