Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of major and complex planning applications. Provide expert planning advice and support on policy matters. Support the development and review of planning policies, evidence documents and strategies. Advise on CIL/S106 matters and developer negotiations. Represent the organisation at planning appeals, examinations and hearings where required. Support planning enforcement and wider service delivery. Essential Experience: Planning qualification to degree level and RTPI membership (or working towards). Local Authority planning experience. Experience with major applications, policy development and/or appeals. Strong report writing and communication skills. Previous supervisory experience desirable.
