Principal Physiotherapists
The Northern Ireland Civil Service is now recruiting Principal Physiotherapists to join their Occupational Health and Wellbeing Services. The Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service functions as a multi-disciplinary team, committed to the training and development of its staff. Job Summary The purpose of this role is to ensure that the Service is responsive to the existing and emerging healthcare needs of the NICS and client bodies. This includes professional advice on a wide range of workplace health related issues, health promotion, health protection programmes and input to policy and procedure development. Main Duties Acting as the clinical lead for a physiotherapy team within the Service and lead future development and expansion of the Service, providing clear operational leadership and management of all staff within command. Leading in strategic and operational planning of the physiotherapy team Being responsible for maintaining provision of a high quality, specialised service, and working with relevant HR colleagues, Departments and clinicians in line with organisational requirements Leading clinical audits and undertaking research to optimise the provision of physiotherapy services for employees to support improvement of the musculoskeletal health and wellbeing of staff.
