The post holder will need strong leadership and managerial skills, with enthusiasm, vision and service development and negotiation abilities to lead and develop the team of established, experienced highly specialist, specialist and rotational pharmacists. Essential: UK registered Pharmacist; Clinical diploma or postgraduate qualification; Evidence of CPD; Leadership qualification. Desirable: Management qualification; Qualified Independent Prescriber.Work experience
Essential: UK hospital pharmacy experience; Relevant clinical pharmacy experience; Experience of managing a team; Experience of audit and quality systems.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Essential: Excellent verbal and written communication; time management; proactive application of specialist knowledge; IT skills to ECDL level or equivalent; problem-solving; staff management and project/change management; strong leadership and negotiating skills.Personal qualities
