The role is remote, but you MUST be willing to occasionally travel to either Manchester, London, Newcastle or Glasgow (dependent on your location). This role will be working in the Energy Transition industry working on low-carbon projects from early-stage development through construction, operation and eventual decommissioning.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping cost-effective, practical mechanical engineering solutions to complex problemsProducing calculations, equipment specifications and datasheets for turbines, compressors, pumps, pressure vessels and heat exchangersCollaborating with process engineers on PFDs and PandIDsSupporting plant layout development and 3D model reviewsWorking with equipment vendors and evaluating technical proposalsProviding engineering advice on plant integrity issues for operational assetsContributing to mechanical discipline bids and wider multi-disciplinary proposalsRequirementsA relevant engineering degreeWorking towards chartershipSignificant work experience in Power Generation or Oil and GasStrong knowledge of industry codes and standards for plant equipment and piping designExperience in pressure vessel and piping design, including stress analysisFamiliarity ..... full job details .....
