The role is hybrid and predominantly home based, but you must be willing to occasionally travel to either Manchester, London, Newcastle or Glasgow (dependent on your location). This role will be working in the Energy Transition industry working on low-carbon projects from early-stage development through construction, operation and eventual decommissioning, currently focusing on power plant projects. Responsibilities Developing cost-effective, practical mechanical engineering solutions to complex problems Producing calculations, equipment specifications and datasheets for turbines, compressors, pumps, pressure vessels and heat exchangers Collaborating with process engineers on PFDs and P&IDs Supporting plant layout development and 3D model reviews Working with equipment vendors and evaluating technical proposals Providing engineering advice on plant integrity issue...
