For our team in Birchwood Park, Warrington we are seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to continue the development of tools to support early retrievals/ operations of the MSSS SEP machines.-

This role requires an innovative individual with experience within this field.-
This role will involve managing a small team of designer / engineers to understand the requirements, further specify requirements and to continue the development of bespoke tools, through concepts, trials and manufacture into fully deployable solutions.-
In addition, the Principal Engineer will act as the single points of contact from initial request through to handover of a fully functional toll to MSSS plant operation teams.-

To successfully carry out this role, it will be necessary to integrate and manage other groups such the SL Innovation teams, the site wide manufacturing capability and other contractors-

Requirements

• Understand the roles and specifications of CDM

• Experience producing design packages, suitable for manufacture and installation, containing drawings, method statements, risks assessments

• Familiarity and experience of working and complying with applicable SL practices, standard and engineering guides.

• HNC/ HND/ Scientific or Engineering Degree
