Principal Mechanical Engineer [3314265]

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Services team, supporting a growing portfolio of projects, particularly in the Healthcare sector.Key Responsibilities

Lead mechanical design and report to the Associate Team Leader.Provide technical input and guidance to junior and graduate engineers.Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of project deliverables.Carry out quality control checks on design calculations and drawings.Prepare technical specification sections.Contribute to engineering budgets and schedules.Use software tools for mechanical building services design.Requirements

Strong communicator with good negotiation skills.Passionate, motivated, and keen to develop professionally.Working towards membership of a professional body (e.g., CIBSE).Proficient in BIM and other design software.Experience with low-carbon system design and IES or similar tools.Qualifications
