Mechanical Design Engineer required for long term contract assignment in BristolSkillset/experience required:Experience using Creo 3D design toolKnowledge of several of the following:Manufacturing processesTolerance studiesEnvironmental testMass property calculationsMaterial selectionFMEADesign for Manufacture/AssemblyEnvironmental Gasket SealingTooling/fixtures designStructural designDefence StandardsReview processesProduct LifecyclesIndustrial validationAn ability to work as part of a multifunctional engineering team and be able to partake in or host design reviews.An appreciation of other engineering areas/domains.
