An opportunity has arisen for
a Principal Landscape Planner to join the landscape team of a large multidisciplinary consultancy. The practice has offices across the UK and internationally, with this position based in their Edinburgh office.The role will involve contributing to a diverse portfolio of projects, including residential and mixed-use developments, infrastructure schemes, renewable energy projects, urban regeneration, and strategic landscape and green infrastructure planning. You will play a key role in preparing LVIAs, landscape planning reports, and providing input into masterplanning and design strategies, working closely with colleagues across environmental, planning, and engineering disciplines.This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and collaborative team, with access to a strong pipeline of projects and the support of a large, well-resourced organisation.PROJECTS

A degree/post graduate degree in Landscape ArchitectureExperience delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and AssessmentsExperience in the successful delivery of landscape and urban design projectsExperience of managing landscape design during the construction phaseExcellent technical skills and proficiency in Autodesk and Adobe Creative SuiteFluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written and graphic communication skillsA full and clean driving licence and full right to work in the UKRESPONSIBILITIES
Independently managing smaller projects and supporting delivery of specific tasks within larger projectsStrategic and feasibility/concept studiesLandscape and visual assessment (LVIA) for both linear and site-based projectTownscape and visual assessment (TVIA)Preliminary/sketch and detailed design including general arrangement drawingsHard and soft construction detailing, schedules and specification to support planning applicationsTender and construction packages, construction/post-construction inspectionsSupport the continued development of our relationships with existing and new clients in public and private sectorsSupporting the preparation of bids ranging from small to complex multi-disciplinary projects..Managing and delegation of project work to junior members of the teamClient liaisonON OFFER
