in Wigan, UK. This is a full-time, permanent position.RSK LDE Ltd, part of the RSK Group, is looking for a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join the team in Wigan, UK. The company has a history dating to 2003 and a team of professional civil and structural engineers with extensive experience in the assessment, design, and construction of major development projects.Responsibilities
Manage, lead, and deliver designs for multiple projects on time and to budget.Agree engineering strategies and ensure these are adhered to.Negotiate technical approval for adoptable works (S104, S38, S278, etc.).Ensure designs comply with current Codes of Practice.Maintain effective communication with the design team and other stakeholders.Qualifications and Experience
Working knowledge of:Highway design and ground modelling.Drainage design and hydraulic modelling, including sustainable drainage systems.External works levels design, including Part M.Industry Codes of Practice and Health and Safety legislation.Software package experience:AutocadPDS/XP Site 3D (or similar)Microdrainage Windes/Flow (or similar)Microsoft packagesIdeally 5-10 years experience in a similar sector within Consultancy.Educated to degree or HNC level.Salary and Benefits
