Location: Fully Remote UK Rate: £60 £70 per hour Job Type: Contract Working Arrangement: 100% Remote The Opportunity Strata Consulting is recruiting an experienced Principal Geotechnical Engineer for a highly respected, established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically accomplished Geotechnical Engineer to work on a fully remote basis, delivering a range of challenging civil engineering, infrastructure and development projects. You will take responsibility for delivering geotechnical design packages, providing specialist technical expertise and working collaboratively with civil and structural engineering teams. The position would suit an experienced Senior or Principal Geotechnical Engineer who enjoys technical autonomy, complex engineering challenges and taking ownership of project deliverables. Key Responsibilities Lead geotechnical design packages from ground investigation and interpretation through to detailed design and construction support. Interpret ground investigation information and develop geotechnical ground models. Undertake the analysis and design of shallow and deep foundations, including piled foundations. Design and assess retaining structures, earthworks, slopes and ground improvement solutions. Carry out slope stability, settlement, bearing capacity and foundation assessments.
