This is a senior technical position offering the opportunity to lead complex geotechnical projects, provide technical expertise and support the development of junior engineers.The RoleYou''ll take a leading role across a variety of geotechnical projects, from ground investigation and design through to construction, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.Key responsibilities will include:Leading and managing complex geotechnical projectsReviewing ground investigation information and developing ground modelsUndertaking and reviewing geotechnical design calculationsFoundation, retaining wall and earthworks designSlope stability and settlement assessmentsProducing and reviewing geotechnical interpretative reportsProviding technical input into ground investigation specificationsLiaising with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary design teamsReviewing technical work and providing guidance to junior engineersSupporting fee proposals, tenders and business developmentManaging project budgets, programmes and technical deliverablesAbout YouDegree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or a related disciplineSignificant experience within UK geotechnical consultancyStrong technical knowledge across geotechnical design and ground investigationExperience ..... full job details .....
