You''ll be provided with the resources and support to develop new skills, work on a variety of Ground Investigation and contribute to the business development of this innovative team.Responsibilities of the Principal Geotechnical Engineer role:Overseeing site and report work.Carrying out retaining wall, foundation design and slope stability design.Writing and reviewing factual and interpretive reports.Managing projects and contracts.Communicating with clients.Contributing to bidding and tenderingDeveloping and leading a team.The Principal Geotechnical Engineer selected must have:Extensive experience working in the geotechnical industry and an understanding of geo-environmental schemes relating to contaminated land.A degree in geology, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, environmental engineering or a similar, relevant subject.Hold a valid UK Driving licence.Commutable to Newcastle and the surrounding area.Have a full right to work in the UK.The successful Principal Geotechnical Engineer will receive:A competitive salary ( 38,000 - 48,000).
