This is a senior opportunity for an experienced geotechnical professional looking to take responsibility for technically challenging projects, lead project teams and play an active role in developing client relationships.The RoleYou will work across a varied portfolio of civil engineering and infrastructure projects, providing technical leadership from feasibility and ground investigation through to design and construction.Key responsibilities will include:Leading the delivery of geotechnical projects across a range of sectorsManaging and reviewing ground investigation informationProducing and reviewing geotechnical interpretative reportsUndertaking and reviewing geotechnical calculations and designsProviding technical input into foundations, earthworks, slopes, retaining structures and ground improvementWorking closely with structural, civil and environmental engineersManaging project budgets, programmes and resourcesProviding technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineersLiaising directly with clients, contractors and other project stakeholdersPreparing fee proposals and contributing to business developmentSupporting the continued growth of the Edinburgh office and wider geotechnical teamAbout YouThe successful candidate will have:A ..... full job details .....
