The successful Senior Geotechnical Consultant will be involved in a wide range of geotechnical and infrastructure projects.Desk studies and site walkoversPhase 1 and Phase 2 geotechnical site investigationsBorehole and trial pit loggingSoil and rock samplingPreparation of interpretative reportsGeotechnical risk assessmentsDesigning and reviewing ground investigation worksDeveloping geotechnical models and providing design inputSupporting the delivery of remediation strategies where necessaryEssential Criteria

Strong experience in geotechnical report writing (especially interpretative reports)Degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related disciplineProven leadership and mentoring experienceBased within commuting distance to the Edinburgh officeFull UK driving licenceFull right to work in the UKBenefits
