Principal Geoenvironmental ConsultantMiddlesbrough 50,000 - 60,000A growing specialist consultancy is looking for a Principal Geoenvironmental Consultant to join its team in Middlesbrough.This is a senior position for an experienced geoenvironmental professional who is confident managing projects, dealing directly with clients and providing technical input across contaminated land and ground investigation projects.The role would suit someone who enjoys having a good level of responsibility and wants to be involved in both the technical and commercial side of projects, with the opportunity to help shape the continued growth of the regional team.The RoleYou''ll be involved in a varied portfolio of work across the North East, including brownfield development, contaminated land, site investigation and remediation projects.Your responsibilities will include:Managing geoenvironmental projects from initial proposal through to completionPreparing and reviewing Phase 1 and Phase 2 assessmentsProducing contaminated land risk assessments and conceptual site modelsPlanning and managing intrusive ground investigationsInterpreting soil, groundwater and gas monitoring dataDeveloping remediation strategies and overseeing validationProviding technical advice to clients, developers and contractorsReviewing and signing off technical reportsPreparing fee proposals and tendersManaging project budgets, programmes and resourcesLiaising with regulators and local authoritiesSupporting and mentoring ..... full job details .....
