Job Position: Principal Geo-environmental EngineerLocation: BelfastSalary: 45,000 - 55,000Hybrid workingWe are looking for a skilled Principal Geo-environmental Engineer who is based near Belfast to join a large, Global multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, with a highly technical team and a wide range of contaminated land projects.You will have the chance to mentor a team and be part of the technical support for environmental projects across Northern Ireland. This Principal Geo-environmental Engineer position offers:Generous salary 45,000 - 55,000 (based on experience)Hybrid workingGood pension schemeSupport to become charteredAnnual BonusFlexible benefitsCareer progressionTeam managementClient relationship buildingAnnual Bonuses Your Principal Geo-environmental Engineer duties will include:Technical Leadership and Reporting: Preparing and reviewing complex Phase 1 Desk Studies, Phase 2 intrusive investigation reports, remediation strategy designs, and verification reports.Project Management and Delivery: Managing project budgets, schedules, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.Site Investigation Design: Planning and supervising ground investigations, including soil/rock logging to BS5930, trial pitting, boreholes, and sampling.Risk Assessment: Developing conceptual site models and conducting quantitative risk assessments for human health, groundwater, and ground gas.Client and Regulator Liaison: Acting as the primary contact for clients, ..... full job details .....
