Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer Birmingham 50,000 to 65,000An opportunity has come available in the Birmingham area for a Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer to take a number two position within a growing geo-environmental consultancy, sitting directly alongside the business owner and taking shared responsibility for technical delivery, commercial growth and overall business management.This is not a pure delivery role. The successful candidate will play a central part in shaping the direction of the business winning and retaining clients, driving business development, managing the team and maintaining the highest standards of technical output.Responsibilities:Leading technical delivery across brownfield and residential development projectsManaging all aspects of ground investigation, Phase I and Phase II reporting, foundation calculations, remediation methods, risk assessments and validationsBusiness development and client relationship managementCommercial awareness and contribution to overall business managementMentoring and developing junior engineersProject management from inception through to completionRequirements:Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnics or similar5 or more years of UK ground investigation consultancy experienceStrong Phase I and Phase II interpretive report writingGeotechnical knowledge relating to residential developments is a bonusProven project and client management experienceCommercial awareness and business development ..... full job details .....
