Principal Flood Risk Consultant Reading 50,000 - 60,000A specialist Flood Risk and Drainage Consultancy is looking to appoint a Principal Consultant to join its growing team in Reading.This is a senior position for an experienced Flood Risk professional looking to take on greater responsibility across technical delivery, project management and client relationships.The role will include:Leading the delivery of Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies and flood risk appraisalsUndertaking and reviewing flood risk modelling and technical assessmentsDeveloping Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) strategiesManaging projects from inception through to completion, including budgets and programmesProviding technical guidance and reviewing the work of junior team membersLiaising with clients, Local Authorities, the Environment Agency and other stakeholdersDeveloping and maintaining client relationshipsSupporting the continued growth and development of the Flood Risk teamThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in flood risk and drainage, with experience delivering projects within a consultancy environment.
