Principal Fire Safety Engineer

Fire Safety Assurance Specialist Location: CumbriaSalary: 50,000 - 60,000 plus package. Please note: Due to the security requirements of this position, applications can only be accepted from candidates who hold sole UK nationality. Key responsibilities: Conduct independent fire safety inspections and surveillance. Assess compliance with UK fire safety legislation and management systems. Review fire prevention strategies and fire risk assessments. Assess readiness to progress major engineering and infrastructure projects through assurance hold points. Interpret engineering and safety documentation. Communicate inspection findings to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management and external regulators. About you: Experienced fire safety professional with strong knowledge of UK legislation. Strong understanding of fire risk assessment methodologies. Experience working within complex or high-hazard environments. Able to interpret engineering and safety documentation. Confident engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders and regulators.
