Principal Fire Safety Advisor

The RoleAs a Principal Fire Safety Advisor, you will be actively involved the design of new modern buildings and the refurbishment of existing building as part of the site expansion and development programme.It also includes leading the delivery of fire safety through all aspects of a building lifecycle from concept design through to commissioning of fire systems and establishing management systems for fire safety.This role provides development opportunities including maintaining continuous professional development. Role Responsibilities:Not limited to Be a fire subject matter expert with a proven track record of delivering appropriate and accurate fire safety advice and guidance for building projects.Delivery of fire prevention strategies and governance of fire protection systems.Support the production and maintenance of fire safety process documentation and management strategies.Providing support to the client in the control and mitigation of fire risk by conducting fire safety audits where the Construction Design and Management Regulations are applied.Support facility projects by reviewing fire strategies, building drawings and other information as part of the fire safety design of site buildings.Liaising with a network of facility engineering stakeholders on fire safety matters.Undertake detailed fire risk assessments on complex buildingsDesign and develop building fire strategies What are BAE Systems looking for from you?Experience in conducting complex fire risk ..... full job details .....
