As a Principal Fire Engineer in the Bristol office, located just out of the city centre, you will play a key role in leading high-profile projects, mentoring a talented engineering team, and driving technical innovation. The Role of the Principal Fire Engineer

• Lead the delivery of fire engineering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring technical excellence and compliance.
• Provide strategic and technical advice to clients, design teams, and stakeholders.
• Manage and mentor engineers at various levels, supporting their professional growth and development.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and quality assurance processes.
• Contribute to business development through client relationship management and proposal writing.

About the Principal Fire Engineer

• Degree-qualified in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in fire engineering, ideally with Chartered status (CEng/MIFireE).
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and manage client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of UK fire safety legislation, standards, and design codes.
• A collaborative leader with a passion for innovation and technical excellence.
