Principal Fire Engineer

A leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a Principal Fire Engineer to join their growing fire engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Principal Fire Engineer to work on complex and high-profile developments while progressing their career within a technically respected consultancy.

The successful Principal Fire Engineer will play a key role in delivering fire safety strategies and technical fire engineering advice across projects from early design stages through to completion.

The Principal Fire Engineer''s Role

• Delivering fire engineering advice across a wide range of building projects
• Developing and reviewing fire strategies in line with UK regulations and guidance
• Undertaking fire, smoke and evacuation modelling using specialist software
• Attending client, design team and project meetings
• Working collaboratively with architects, engineers and construction professionals
• Supporting project delivery across multiple sectors within the built environment

The Principal Fire Engineer

• Degree qualified in Fire Engineering, Engineering, Physics, Building Services, Architecture or similar
• Experience within a fire engineering consultancy environment
• Strong understanding of UK fire regulations and design guidance
• Experience with fire modelling or analysis tools
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage technical deliverables and project deadlines
