remote position

with travel required across England and Wales, offering the opportunity to work on diverse projects while maintaining flexibility and independence.The Role of the Principal Fire Safety ConsultantAs Principal Fire Safety Consultant, you will take a lead role in delivering high-quality fire safety strategies and consultancy services. You will provide expert guidance to clients on complex fire safety matters, ensuring full compliance with the latest legislation and building regulations.Your work will include:Developing and reviewing fire safety strategies across a wide variety of projectsApplying in-depth knowledge of the Building Safety Act, Approved Document B, and wider fire safety legislationConducting compartmentation inspections and advising on remedial worksOccasionally undertaking Fire Risk Assessments and compliance checksCollaborating with clients, design teams, and internal colleagues to ensure robust fire safety complianceThe Principal Fire Safety ConsultantWe are looking for a proactive, detail-driven professional with:Strong working knowledge of current legislation, including the Building Safety Act and Approved Document BBackground in Fire Safety, Surveying, Building ControlRelevant degree such as – Fire Engineering, Building Surveying, Building ControlDemonstrable experience in fire safety strategy development and compartmentation inspectionsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to advise and influence at a senior levelFlexibility to travel throughout England and WalesWhat’s on Offer?Salary: £65,000 – £75,000Generous car scheme optionsPrivate Medical Insurance31 Days holiday plus 8 Bank holidaysComprehensive benefitsHybrid workingGenuine support for work-life balancePayment of two professional membershipsIf you are a Principal Fire Safety Consultant, considering your career opportunities, please contact Megan Cole at Brandon ..... full job details .....
