The role will provide professional leadership across traffic engineering, road safety, parking, walking, cycling and highway improvement programmes, helping to deliver safer, more accessible and sustainable transport schemes.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and delivery of traffic management, road safety, casualty reduction, traffic calming, parking, walking, cycling and highway improvement schemes.Analyse collision, speed, traffic flow and other technical data to identify issues and develop suitable engineering interventions.Manage projects from feasibility and design through consultation, statutory processes, construction and post-implementation review.Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, business cases and technical reports.Manage Traffic Management Orders (TMOs) and associated statutory procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation, engineering standards and Council processes.Manage project budgets, risks, resources, programmes, funding submissions, governance arrangeme...
