      <description>Location: Cardiff | Salary: &amp;pound;50000 - &amp;pound;56000/annum | Type: Permanent | I''m currently working with a well-established engineering and transport planning consultancy that provides infrastructure design and development planning advice across a broad range of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments throughout the UK.  Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a  Principal Engineer  to join their Cardiff team. This is a key position within the business, offering the opportunity to take ownership of projects, support the development of junior engineers, and play an active role in client relationships and business development.   The Role    You''ll be involved in the delivery of a wide range of development infrastructure projects, providing technical input across:   Highways and access design  Drainage and infrastructure design  Flood Risk Assessments  Drainage Strategies  Development planning support  Client liaison and stakeholder engagement  Technical review and mentoring of junior engineers    This role offers genuine scope to influence projects from initial planning stages through to detailed design while working alongside experienced transport and infrastructure professionals.
