We''re working with a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Principal Design Lead to join its Civil Engineering team in either Cardiff or Bristol. Working closely with the Associate Director, you''ll lead the delivery of highways design projects, provide technical guidance to the team and play a key role in developing engineers while maintaining excellent relationships with clients. The Role • Lead the delivery of highways design projects from concept through to completion. • Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians. • Work closely with the Associate Director to support the growth and development of the team. • Produce and review technical designs, drawings and reports. • Liaise with clients, local authorities and other stakeholders. • Ensure projects are delivered to programme, budget and the highest technical standards.
