      <description>Location: York | Salary: &amp;pound;62000 - &amp;pound;70000/annum | Type: Permanent | My Client, a market leading Environmental and Planning Consultancy based in York, is searching for a Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer to join their supportive team.  You will be required to work from the office on a hybrid basis (2 days a week) and help to expand a new team.    This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join an experienced design team who specialise in infrastructure, flood risk, planning and landscape architecture for public and private sector clients across the UK. With a wide portfolio of projects you will have the chance to design flood risk, drainage and foul drainage solutions for Housing Developers, Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients across the region.      As a Principal Flood Risk and Drainage Engineer you will be required to complete varied technical work including;   -Flood Risk Assessments for flood zone 1,2 and 3.   -Flood Risk Mapping using ArcGIS.   -Drainage Strategies for Planning Applications.  -Drainage, attenuation and sewerage design using infodrainage, causeway flow and Civils 3D.     -Access road design for developments.   -Client meetings to discuss project progress.    -Develop new business opportunities...</description>
