You''ll be acting as the shipyard technical authority and discipline lead for electrical, automation, control, navigation/communication and integration-related systems across assigned vessel projects.  What will you be doing?   Own electrical engineering strategy, standards, governance, resourcing and performance for the shipyard electrical function. Review, challenge and approve outsourced electrical designs for compliance, safety, buildability, maintainability, material availability and production readiness. Lead electrical input to design gate, maturity, constructability and production readiness reviews prior to release to build. Ensure compliance with Classification Society rules, Flag State, SOLAS, IMO, IEC/marine electrical standards, customer specs and shipyard QA procedures.
