Principal Ecologist , you’ll take on a pivotal role within the team—leading projects, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to the success of high-profile initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to:Advance their career while making a tangible differenceShare expertise and guide early-career ecologistsManage complex ecological projects from start to finishStrengthen client relationships and influence design decisionsWhat we’re looking forSolid experience in UK habitat and protected species assessmentsProven ability in report writing, quality assurance, and technical leadershipWorking knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice standardsStrong communication skills and confidence in client-facing rolesExperience with project management and line management responsibilitiesRelevant degree (postgraduate preferred) in ecology or related disciplineSurvey and/or mitigation licences (desirable but not essential)A proactive, flexible approach with excellent attention to detailWhat you’ll get in returnWe care about your growth and wellbeing.
