Principal ECandI Engineer

Role OverviewThe role is responsible for leading and delivering the Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (ECandI) engineering elements of assigned projects. This includes managing ECandI design activities from concept through manufacture, testing, and handover, ensuring technical compliance, quality, and efficient delivery. The position works closely with project and technical leadership, multi-disciplinary teams, and external partners to deliver integrated engineering solutions. This would suit candidates looking to take the step into a more senior role, or Principal position.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and deliver ECandI engineering activities across allocated projects in alignment with project and technical leadership.Support Project Managers to ensure ECandI designs meet project, technical, and regulatory requirements.Ensure ECandI project scope is delivered efficiently, effectively, and to the required quality standards.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary design teams to develop integrated electrical and control solutions that are fit for purpose.Produce ECandI designs and associated technical documentation from concept through to validation and handover.Manage and review ECandI design outputs from sub-contractors to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.Conduct peer reviews of ECandI deliverables produced internally or externally.Provide technical input and support to commercial and estimating activities.Witness factory acceptance tests ..... full job details .....
