      <description>Location: Cambridge | Salary: &amp;pound;70000 - &amp;pound;85000/annum | Type: Permanent | Principal DSP Engineer | Cambridge     We're looking for an expert to ensure best-in-class audio clarity, loudness, and performance in challenging, noisy environments.    Responsibilities as a Principal DSP Engineer:  	 Design the complete acoustic path for new products to meet aggressive audio targets 	 Implement, tune, and optimise DSP algorithms like noise suppression, echo cancellation   Requirements:  	 5+ years of professional experience in audio product development, with a strong focus on micro-acoustics 	 Deep understanding of electro-acoustic transducers 	 Proven experience with acoustic simulation software (COMSOL, FEA) 	 Proficiency in a programming/scripting language (MATLAB, Python) for data analysis   Nice to have skills for a Principal DSP Engineer:  	 Experience tuning DSP algorithms on embedded platforms 	 Knowledge of RF/EMI shielding for audio circuits 	 Familiarity with wireless protocols (DMR, P25, LTE)     Comprehensive benefits package:  	 Private health &amp; dental care 	 Enhanced pension contributions 	 Flexible working hours     Apply now to change the direction of audio DSP engineering in the heart of UK audio innovation!</description>
