Principal DevOps Engineer/ Head of DevOps/ Lead DevOps Engineer

Looking for a Lead/ Principal/ Head DevOps Engineer for a 12 month contracting requirement, on site once a week in Dublin

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimise cloud resources for performance and cost-efficiency
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling
• Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines
• Foster collaboration between development and operations teams
• Lead and mentor a cross-functional DevOps team
• Champion new technologies and modern engineering practices
• Establish system maintenance and troubleshooting standards
• Oversee capacity planning and ensure scalability

• AWS Certified with deep hands-on experience
• Proven leadership at Principal level in cloud infrastructure
• Strong DevOps background with modern tooling
• Proficiency in-Terraform-and at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.)
• Experience with-Docker-and-Kubernetes
• Skilled in cloud cost and performance optimisation
• Track record of managing and mentoring technical teams
• Experience leading cross-functional projects
• Passion for implementing DevOps best practices
