They have significant Architectural, Engineering and Principal Designer experience, working for both Public and Private sector clients. Their primary sectors include Residential, Industrial, Education, Financial, Healthcare, Commercial, Leisure and Custodial developments. They are looking to enhance their Principal Designer service and are seeking an experienced and qualified professional to join their team. This role will be instrumental in supporting the implementation of the new duty holder responsibilities outlined in the Building Safety Act 2022. To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate the ability to: Carry out building inspections, site visits, surveys and prepare reports. Offer advice around the Building Safety Act to both external clients and colleagues to ensure compliance on projects. Liaise with Principal Designer, Principal Contractor and other parties. Undertake plan checks and review designs to establish compliance for submission for Building Regulation approval. Inspect properties and buildings at key stages of the building process.
