Key Responsibilities Act as Principal Designer under CDM Regulations 2015 . Coordinate and manage H&S requirements throughout the design process. Review design information, drawings and specifications to identify and mitigate risks. Coordinate with designers, consultants, contractors and the client. Undertake site surveys and inspections where required. Coordinate survey information and ensure it is incorporated into the design. Review and maintain the Pre-Construction Information (PCI) . Prepare, review and maintain the Health & Safety File . Ensure design risk assessments and risk registers are maintained. Coordinate design meetings and H&S discussions. Liaise with the client and wider project team to ensure CDM compliance. Identify potential design and construction risks and provide practical mitigation measures.
