You''ll utilise your extensive experience in delivering successful flood, water management, and drainage projects to achieve exceptional outcomes for a diverse range of clients, including National Highways, local authorities, water industry clients, and significant major projects like the A66 Northern Trans-Pennine. Your dedication to continuous improvement and development will ensure excellence across all projects. Location: Salford - Office based with some remote working available Salary: £50,000 - £57,500 + £5.9k annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits Responsibilities As Principal Design Engineer, you''ll be responsible for leading a team of skilled designers in delivering high-value, high-quality drainage schemes, supporting the Drainage Design Manager in executing the drainage strategy. Your day to day will include: Maintaining the highest standards of quality and project controls established by the team and wider businessApplying the latest design standards and lessons learnt to projectsLiaising with statutory and non-statutory bodies obtaining relevant data, licences, and consentsDriving technical excellence and continued improvement across the teamMonitoring project delivery and undertaking change control management What are we looking for?
