Principal Data Analyst - PLM Teamcenter

Location: Remote with adhoc visits to UK based site (Bristol, Luton, Southampton, Edinburgh, Basildon)

Duration: 6 month contract

Rate: -75ph UMB (Inside IR35)

Role details:
Our defence client is looking for a Principal Data Analyst to support PLM reporting and data analytics across Teamcenter and Enovia platforms. This is a six-month contract opportunity, primarily remote, with occasional visits to offices in Edinburgh, Basildon, Luton or Southampton.

• Work with business stakeholders to understand, document and prioritise reporting requirements
• Develop wireframes and other representations to support requirements gathering and report design
• Identify appropriate data sources and define effective approaches for delivering reporting solutions
• Perform data transformation, modelling and analysis to meet business reporting needs
• Validate data accuracy and completeness using appropriate quality control and testing techniques
• Develop clear, meaningful reports and dashboards using Teamcenter Reporting, TCRA and other relevant tools
• Collaborate with the PLM product team, Data and Analytics colleagues and vendor representatives to resolve issues and improve reporting capability
• Capture continuous improvement opportunities and contribute to the prioritisation of reporting enhancements

• Experience in data analysis, PLM administration or a closely related discipline
• Strong knowledge of Teamcenter and PLM platforms, with exposure to Enovia desirable
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts
• Understanding of data modelling, data governance and master data management
• Experience translating user requirements into practical reports and dashboards
• Ability to conduct data validation, testing and quality assurance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively through remote working, screen sharing and technical troubleshooting

• Experience developing reports within Teamcenter Reporting
• Knowledge of the Teamcenter Reporting and Analytics Module (TCRA)
• Understanding of product structures, engineering change processes and product configuration management
• Awareness of integrations between PLM, ERP and MES systems
