Job Summary

Lead an alternative provision supporting students aged 5-19 who are unable to attend mainstream school. You will champion educational inclusion, build a trauma-informed environment, and drive student reintegration or progression to further education, training, or employment. A visionary, empathetic leader, you''ll shape inclusive culture, strong community partnerships, and responsive learning programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead staff with dedication and promote professional growth.
• Ensure a student-centred, trauma-informed approach to meet diverse needs.
• Guide curriculum strategy for academic, personal, and life skill development.
• Strengthen engagement with families, community, and external partners.
• Advocate for students with SEND, shaping awareness and best practices.
• Manage resources to maintain a safe, inclusive, and effective learning space.
• Use data-driven insights to continuously improve outcomes and strategy.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with substantial senior leadership experience.
• Proven track record supporting young people with SEND and/or challenging behavior.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Strategic, adaptable, and operationally focused mindset.
