Overview We are looking for a Principal Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join PM Group working for us on a hybrid working arrangement based out of our Manchester office.Job Title: Principal Control and Instrumentation EngineerLocation: Manchester Responsibilities As a Principal Control and Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of our Instrumentation engineering services and solutions with customers, across conceptual, basic and detailed design engineering phases; and into construction and CQV phases within a genuine multi-disciplinary delivery team.You''ll also assist with bids and tenders as well as providing coaching and mentoring to early careers engineering professionals. Qualifications Degree or equivalent qualification in a related Engineering field.Preferably a Chartered Engineer with IET, or working towards.Possess a thorough level of experience in control and instrumentation specification and design engineering work.Fieldbus technology (Profibus DP and Modbus RTU) design knowledge.Some experience of programming/configuration of PLC/DCS systems would be advantageous.Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
