Principal Civil Structural Engineer Subways

12 Month Contract£71 - £80 per hour umbrella (Inside IR35)Job Role:We are looking for a Principal Civil / Structural Engineer to support delivery of civil / structural subway systems as part of the subways team in Devonport.Lead on the Structural / Civil works required for: Refurbishment design proposals for the existing extant subways within the 10D site.Development of new / alternative designs. Lead the design team with assessing the findings of recent condition surveys, within the extant subways, and develop a strategy / design for the remediation of these subways. This will need to be coordinated with existing utilities and proposed to ensure that all design requirements are metDay-to-day, you ll be supporting the engineering capability of the new systems through the design lifecycle in accordance with the design process.Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage one or more technical design packages ensuring requirements are met through the design processProvide technical design guidance and review of sub-contract design to ensure compliance with specifications, technical regulations and standardsCollaboration across engineering functions and stakeholders to integrate designs within the overall facility layout and manage interfacesMaintaining the engineering configuration of the design intent (change control) Key Skills and Experience: Design of high complex services subways / routes preferably in a Nuclear/ Regulated environmentRegulations, legislation and standards that ..... full job details .....
