Principal Civil EngineerLocation: UK (Hybrid/Site Travel Required)Contract: 6 months (Strong Likelihood of Extension)We''re recruiting for a Principal Civil Engineer to join a leading organisation delivering renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity to work on major projects including BESS, Solar PV, ASHP, industrial boilers, and electrical infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Civil Engineering input across large-scale energy projects.Produce and review engineering drawings, designs, and technical documentation.Manage civil, structural, and geotechnical design activities.Support projects through feasibility, detailed design, construction, and commissioning.Review technical risks, constructability, and engineering changes.Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal project teams.Prepare scopes of work, specifications, reports, and tender documentation.RequirementsDegree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership.Experience delivering civil engineering on energy or infrastructure projects.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience and knowledge of substations, BESS, or industrial projects is advantageous.What''s on Offer6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.Competitive day rate.Opportunity to work on high-profile renewable energy and decarbonisation projects.ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are ..... full job details .....
