Join our client, an established Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy in Gloucester and drive the technical delivery of exciting civil engineering projects. As a Principal Civil Engineer, you''ll ensure top-tier quality, manage project performance, and mentor our client''s talented team.

You''ll be a key player in projects involving:

• Residential and commercial housing
• Care homes
• Cutting-edge renewable energy (we do a lot of wind farms!)
• Industrial sites
• Plus, we''re expanding rapidly into the rail sector!

While our client has projects across the UK, your main focus will be on significant developments in South Wales and the West of England.

We''re looking for someone who:

• Has 8+ years of post-graduate experience and a proven track record of taking design responsibility.
• Is highly competent in drainage, highways, and civil infrastructure design, including understanding adoption procedures.
• Has strong communication skills, both for your team and for engaging with clients.
• Has desirable software skills (MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Is likely Chartered, but we welcome highly experienced candidates with similar expertise.
• Holds a current UK driving license.
