Principal Civil Engineer - The RoleAn established and highly respected multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Principal Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Hemel Hempstead.This is an excellent opportunity for a Principal Civil Engineer to work on a diverse range of residential, commercial and industrial developments, taking responsibility for delivering high-quality civil engineering designs.The successful Principal Civil Engineer will join a collaborative consultancy environment, offering the opportunity to lead projects, support junior engineers and play a key role in the continued growth of their civil engineering team.Principal Civil Engineer - ResponsibilitiesLead the design and delivery of civil engineering infrastructure projects from concept through to completion.Produce and review drainage strategies, external works designs and highways layouts.Undertake detailed drainage modelling using FLOW software.Utilise Civil 3D to develop and coordinate engineering designs.Liaise with clients, local authorities and other design professionals.Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.Ensure projects are delivered to relevant UK design standards, regulations and deadlines.Principal Civil Engineer - RequirementsMinimum 8 years'' post-qualification experience working within a UK civil engineering design consultancy.Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.Advanced ..... full job details .....
