Principal Civil Design Engineer

Principal Civil Design EngineerOur client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Principal Civil Design Engineer with an essential background in Utility Engineering and experience within the water industry, to join their integrated design team. In this role, you will play the lead part in the development and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, supporting designs from initial feasibility, concept through to detailed design, construction and commissioning. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, practical design solutions that meet client and project requirements. The role is based at our clients Office in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The position follows a hybrid working arrangement, with an expectation to be office-based at least four days per week.Job DescriptionKey DutiesManaging and coordinating internal and external activities associated with civil and drainage design, in line with client specifications and design standards.Prepare and develop design solutions at various stages of a project, supporting Design Engineering activities related to civil design, including value engineering steering.Responsible for the delivery of design schemes and oversee the roles and responsibilities of the Design and Engineering Team.Design duties will include management of design schemes at various stages, ensuring the design tasks have been completed; attendance at meetings and checking the work ..... full job details .....
