Principal / Associate Electrical Engineer - MEP TeamStantec is seeking a Principal or Associate level Electrical Engineer to join our MEP team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team that is passionate about engineering and creating a positive, collaborative work environment.
Our MEP team in Manchester leads sustainable and high-performance building design, tackling a diverse range of sectors including commercial, residential, industrial, and leisure. We pride ourselves on a collaborative, right-first-time approach, delivering award-winning and sustainable environments.
As a key member of our MEP leadership team, you will lead and mentor the electrical engineering discipline, oversee multidisciplinary projects from start to finish, manage client relationships, and ensure a consistent pipeline of new work. This role also involves ownership of commercial performance, including fee negotiation and project profitability, while championing quality and high standards.
About YouWe''re seeking a Chartered Electrical Engineer with a proven track record of managing projects and people in the UK building services industry. You should have:
A relevant qualification (HNC, HND, Bachelor''s, or Master''s).
Experience in team management, including recruitment, performance, and development.
A knack for business development, with the ability to win new work and manage commercial responsibilities.
Proficiency with BIM processes, including Revit and IES/Amtech.
