projects across the UK and EuropeWe’re looking for a passionate and technically strong professional to lead the design and delivery of complex electrical systems for high-specification mission-critical infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with top-tier clients including colocation providers and hyperscale developers, shaping the future of sustainable, efficient, and resilient Data Centres.Your Role
Lead electrical engineering delivery from concept through to commissioning.Oversee and actively participate in client, consultant, and contractor meetings (UK and internationally).Develop high-quality electrical designs and specifications that meet all regulatory and performance standards.Coordinate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams on integrated design solutions.Validate contractor designs and conduct QA/QC inspections and witness testing on site.Mentor junior engineers and review their work for quality and compliance.Track project hours vs. budgets and flag scope changes proactively.Provide leadership, guidance, and technical direction to project teams.Take full accountability for the discipline’s output and client satisfaction.Contribute to a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.What You Bring
BEng/MEng in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Vocational qualifications may be considered with strong experience.6–15 years
of electrical engineering experience in building services, with a focus on mission-critical environments.Chartered Engineer
status (or equivalent) is an added advantage.Deep experience with
HV/MV/LV systems , UPS, generators, switchgear, and AC/DC power systems.Proven track record delivering
Data Centre
or clean tech/telecoms projects from concept to commissioning.Ability to lead teams (3–10 engineers) across multiple regions and disciplines.Strong problem-solving skills, commercial awareness, and attention to detail.Familiarity with project controls, scope definition, risk identification, and budget adherence.Excellent relationship-building and communication skills at all levels.? Technical ProficiencyDesign tools: Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux, Amtech, SKM, ETAP, EasypowerPlatforms: Microsoft Office, BIM360Why This Role?
