Our client, a leading company in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Principal Antenna Engineer and Capability Lead to join their Business.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and test innovative antenna and RF product solutions, considering emerging technologiesConduct electromagnetic simulations and analysis to optimise antenna performanceSupport the development of Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and analysis softwareAnalyse, review, and substantiate requirements with customersDrive the test, characterisation, and verification of prototype and product designs, ensuring qualification and requirements complianceRepresent the team and business unit in customer and internal stakeholder interactionsManage bids, develop concept designs, and generate technical proposals to drive new businessCreate and maintain project plans, providing status updates for stakeholdersSet clear objectives and provide support and mentorship to the Antenna Design TeamJob Requirements:Degree in a relevant Engineering fieldExperience in leading and managing high-performance teams with senior stakeholder interactionStrong theoretical and practical RF design experienceProficiency in RF principles, transmission line theory, and antenna theoryExpertise in using electromagnetic simulation software (e.g., CST MWS, FEKO, HFSS)Experience with RF test and measurement equipment such as Vector Network Analysers and Spectrum AnalysersSignificant experience in antenna ..... full job details .....
