Client: BAE SystemsJob Title: P6 PlannerLocation: Barrow-in-FurnessContract length: 12 monthsDays on site: 2/3 days per weekRate: £40 PAYE or £53.90 UmbrellaAbout The Role:You will manage the PMandC processes of a small project, or a part of a larger, more complex project, (such as a particular work package), or will support a Project Manager with aspects of managing PMandC on a larger project, all within the Submarines division of BAE Systems. Key Responsibilities: Intermediate project reporting and scheduling Accountable for supporting development and implementation of appropriately tailored planning, monitoring and controls practices. May have supervisory responsibilities for a one or two staff members. Expected to provide technical support to team members. Accountable for ensuring one or more aspects of PMandC practices in the project are suitable for purpose. Skills and Qualifications: Hands on experience with Primavera P6 - Mandatory Experience working within defence - desirable Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of PMandC policies, processes, procedures and systems. Comprehensive PMandC experience demonstrated in a professional capacity within a project. Good knowledge and understanding of their projects. Comprehensive understanding of one or more PMandC tools techniques and practices.
