Primary Tutor - Scarborough 15 hours per week 30- 35 per hourTradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced and reliable Face-to-Face Primary Tutor to support a student in the Scarborough area of North Yorkshire.This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver personalised 1:1 tuition to a primary-aged learner who requires additional support to re-engage with education, rebuild confidence, and make meaningful progress in core subjects. Many of the pupils we support benefit from structured, consistent tuition outside of mainstream classroom settings.The placement offers 15 hours of tuition per week. Sessions may take place in school, alternative provision, a community setting, or the learner''s home (where appropriate), depending on individual needs. The role offers flexibility and can be tailored around your availability.The RoleAs a Face-to-Face Primary Tutor, you will:Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition in English, Maths and wider primary curriculum areasPlan and deliver engaging sessions tailored to the student''s individual learning needsSupport a learner who may have SEN, SEMH needs, or gaps in educationBuild positive, professional relationships to improve confidence and engagementMonitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordinglyWork independently while liaising with schools, local authorities, and support teams where requiredThe Ideal Tutor Will:Be a qualified Primary Teacher (QTS preferred) or have substantial primary teaching/tutoring experienceBe confident ..... full job details .....
